Engineering Support

RHM has over forty years of fluid power systems design, build and test expertise.  In that time, RHM has shipped roughly a $250,000,000 in fluid power systems spanning its entire technology range….hydraulics, lubricating oil, coolant, compressed air, test and other specialty systems.

Support begins with our team of field sales engineers, trained to assess customer needs and provide viable solutions.  Once those needs are determined, our inside engineering staff takes over to generate preliminary drawings, bills-of-materials and customer quotations.  When that proposal becomes an order, the entire RHM engineering and manufacturing team is put into high gear to ensure your system is built right, built on time and built to last.

Throughout this process the tools, capabilities and services RHM will provide include:

  • Total circuit design responsibility
  • Applications assistance
  • Installation and start-up assistance
  • Field training
  • Controls or system upgrades and retrofits
  • Complete 2D or 3D drawing packages
  • Simultaneous engineering and prototyping
  • Introduction of new products and technologies
  • Cost saving ideas that will not compromise reliability
  • Proper component, line and system sizing
  • Unparalleled quality control documentation
  • ISO 9001:2008 registered processes throughout
  • Program or project management
  • Total turnkey systems capabilities
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Development of standards or specifications
  • Support manuals or CDs
  • Preventative maintenance programs
  • Digital photographic documentation
  • Full electrical controls responsibilities
  • Plant energy audits
  • Diagnostics for heat, noise, leaks, shock and contamination

Everyone says they “add value” in their relationships with their customers.  Well, RHM does, too, but the difference is we deliver on that promise!  This list of engineering services is designed to provide a glimpse of the total value proposition RHM brings to the table.  We are confident few, if any, of our competitors can say the same.
